What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Cost Analyst position at Creative Financial Staffing (CFS)?
Summary : Provide the industry of manufactory full accountability or raw materials, commodities, and work-in-process inventory transactions, reconciliation of books inventory values with perpetual inventory records, accurate reporting of efficiency operation variances, and cost reductions.
Task :
- Analyzing manufacturing operations, equipment availability and utilization
- Performing month-end cost accounting close
- Maintaining cost accounting system and cost ledger
- Performing life cycle cost-benefit analysis
- Analyzing inventory valuations
- Assist local management in the financial analysis, cost projections, and explanation of efficiency and speeding variances from predetermined manufacturing standards or departmental budgets.
- Responsible for the work-in process inventory transactions data integrity, including and not limited to stage yield reporting, and actual direct labor and equipment running hours.
- Maintains a manufacturing cost system to provide accurate and timely quantitative data relative to progress against budgets and standards, and to enable appropriate inventory valuation in accordance with established policies and guidelines
Education & Experience :
BBA in Accounting, CPA MBA Preferred. Knowledge in Advanced Excel & SAP. Experience of 5 to 8 years
