Position Overview
The General Operations Associate will play a critical role in supporting both the investment and insurance departments. This hybrid position involves assisting in the execution of investment operations while also supporting insurance operations and client service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a strong financial acumen, and is eager to contribute to multiple facets of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Investment Support:
- Assist in the implementation of new investment accounts. Work with clients to execute money movement transactions and miscellaneous requests.
- Insurance Support:
- Support the insurance team in client consultations, policy reviews, and the development of tailored insurance solutions. Prepare documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Client Service:
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing information and assistance regarding both investment and insurance inquiries. Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through timely and effective communication.
- Data Management:
- Maintain accurate records of investment and insurance transactions. Ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with both the investment and insurance teams to ensure cohesive service delivery and strategy execution.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Support admin with scheduling, documentation, and preparation of materials for client meetings and presentations.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and new financial products. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services, preferably within investment or insurance sectors
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g.,SIE, Series 7, Series 63, or insurance licenses) are a plus.
