Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily will support the project management team in overseeing and coordinating various aspects of multifamily construction projects. This role is essential in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while also fostering a collaborative work environment among all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of multifamily construction projects
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Monitor project progress and help maintain project schedules
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including budgets, reports, and meeting minutes
- Assist in resolving issues that arise during the construction process
- Support the project manager in communication with clients and stakeholders
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in construction project management or a related role
- Familiarity with multifamily construction processes and best practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
