The ideal candidate will assist in representing plaintiffs in class action lawsuits, focusing on wage and hour violations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful legal cases that advocate for workers' rights.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and filing of class action lawsuits related to wage and hour violations.
- Conduct legal research and analyze case law relevant to wage and hour class action claims.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Participate in depositions, trials, and other court proceedings as needed.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and identify key legal issues.
- Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case progress.
- Stay current on developments in labor law and wage and hour regulations.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- 1-3 years of experience in employment law, with a focus on wage and hour issues preferred.
- Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to draft legal documents clearly and effectively.
- Experience with class action litigation is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
