We are seeking a skilled Automation & Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and productivity. This role requires a strong understanding of control systems, PLC programming, and automation technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation systems and control strategies for various applications.
- Program and configure PLCs using Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Omron platforms.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in hardware and software related to automation systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct testing and validation of automation solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on automated systems.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, programming, and operational procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in PLC programming and control system design.
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Omron PLCs and their programming environments.
- Strong understanding of automation principles and technologies.
- Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting in an industrial setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
