Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects
- Analyze blueprints and other project documents to identify project costs
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure accurate estimates
- Conduct site visits to gather data and assess conditions
- Monitor project budgets and provide updates as necessary
- Evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers
- Maintain a database of historical costs and benchmarks for future projects
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
