Construction Estimator (GC/Commercial)

We are a regional general contractor and construction services provider focusing on the healthcare, retail, hospitality, community development and industrial industries. Since 2006, we've been scaling our team and hvae put together a very impressive portfolio of work at this point!

Right now, we're seeking a full time Estimator to join our Preconstruction team to help prepare comprehensive cost estimates, analyze plans/specs, visit the site and attend pre-bid meetings, among other duties.

What You'll Be Doing

• Work closely with our Sr Estimator and Director of Preconstruction Services.
• Work with subcontractors, suppliers, develop preconstruction project schedules, perform all functions from start to finish to estimate a project and submit a proposal.
• Maintain estimate files and proposals in an organized manner.
• Prepare project schedules.
• Meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Manage the request for proposal process (RFP).
• Meet with Project Managers and Superintendents to descripe the project and review the estimate, schedule and specific info required to successfully build the project.
  
  

Required

• 4 years working experience
• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Building Construction or similar is nice but not required.
• Strong background in Commercial estimating, scheduling and bid management software such as Building Connected, Destini Estimator, Plan Swift and Power Project.
