Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing courthouse and jailhouse construction projects, with a focus on commercial and ground-up developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from start to finish.
- Develop project schedules and budgets, ensuring adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage and lead project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and labor.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and executives.
- Oversee project estimation and bidding processes, ensuring competitive and accurate quotes.
- Resolve any issues that arise during construction, maintaining effective communication with all parties involved.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in construction project management, particularly in courthouse and jailhouse projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software and estimation tools.
