Position Overview
The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for driving process improvements and efficiency across the organization. This role focuses on implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance quality, reduce waste, and increase productivity. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and facilitate training programs to instill a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current processes to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Conduct training sessions on continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Utilize Minitab for data analysis and performance metrics tracking
- Lead Kaizen events to foster collaborative problem-solving
- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis to address and resolve issues
- Implement 5S methodologies to enhance workplace organization and efficiency
- Collaborate with teams to utilize Wonderware for process monitoring and optimization
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in continuous improvement roles
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Minitab
- Ability to effectively train and mentor team members
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Wonderware or similar process control software
