Position Overview
The Controls & Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems and automation solutions for various industrial processes. This role focuses on improving operational efficiency and reliability through advanced automation technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement control strategies for automated systems
- Design and program PLC and SCADA systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions
- Perform system testing and validation to ensure reliability and compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation and control systems
- Provide technical support and training to operational staff
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automation technology
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in controls and automation engineering
- Proficiency in SCADA and PLC programming
- Familiarity with HMI design and implementation
- Experience with VBA for automation and scripting tasks
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
