Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for multi-family construction projects
- Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements
- Develop and submit detailed bids for competitive procurement processes
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure estimate accuracy
- Monitor project budgets and adjust estimates as necessary throughout the project lifecycle
- Negotiate costs with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing
- Conduct regular reviews of completed projects to refine estimating techniques and improve accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, particularly in multi-family projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes
- Experience with cost estimation software and tools
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
