Heavy Civil Project Manager

Position Overview

The Heavy Civil Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing heavy civil construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing budgets, and delivering projects on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage heavy civil construction projects including highways, roadways, and paving activities.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and plans to ensure compliance with timelines and cost control measures.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
• Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, addressing any concerns or changes in project scope.
• Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in heavy civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, costs, and budgeting.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Ability to analyze and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
