Position Overview
The Land Development Coordinator will play a crucial role in the acquisition and development of land for the company's homebuilding projects. They will work closely with various departments and external stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of land development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the acquisition of land for new homebuilding projects by conducting research, negotiating deals, and coordinating with real estate agents and landowners
- Coordinate the preconstruction process, including permitting and creating development plans
- Maintain all documentation related to land development projects
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure development
- Monitor project budgets and timelines
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in the land development process, including internal team members, external consultants, and local government officials
- 3 years of Experience in Land Acquisition and Development, preferably in the Homebuilding Industry.
- Strong Knowledge of Preconstruction Processes
- Excellent Organizational and Time-Management Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong Negotiation and Communication Skills
- Ability to Read and Interpret Technical Documents, such as Development Plans and Zoning Regulations
- Basic Understanding of Math and Financial Concepts related to Land Development Projects
