Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain paint mixing machines and spray equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on pro mix systems, pumps, spray guns, and related components
- Troubleshoot and repair paint system issues using process of elimination
- Maintain accurate inventory of paints, chemicals, and equipment parts
- Conduct bodywork, sanding, and spot repairs on metal surfaces
- Apply coatings using wet painting techniques in accordance with industry standards
- Train others on proper painting techniques and safety practices
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area at the end of each shift
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3 years of relevant experience in industrial painting or equipment maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
