The Plumbing Foreman will oversee plumbing projects, ensuring that work is completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant codes and specifications. This role involves supervising a team of plumbers, coordinating with other trades, and maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage plumbing installation and repair projects from start to finish.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with other construction trades and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Conduct inspections to verify quality of work and adherence to specifications.
- Train and mentor junior plumbers and apprentices in plumbing techniques and safety practices.
- Manage project timelines and report on progress to upper management.
- Journeyman Certification in Plumbing or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the plumbing or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes, specifications, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and technical documents.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with commercial plumbing projects preferred.
- Competitive Pay: $28/hr - $49/hr
