Position Overview

The Production Manager will oversee the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency and quality in production activities. This role involves managing teams, optimizing production processes, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards while meeting budget and schedule targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Conduct quality control checks and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Lead and motivate production teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with supply chain management to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Manage budgeting and cost control for production activities.
• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet delivery targets.
• Optimize inventory management practices to reduce excess stock and minimize shortages.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance overall production capabilities.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and compliance in the production environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in construction or modular manufacturing.
• Experience in Multi-Family or Residential Construction (Prefabricated Homes is a Plus!)
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, quality control processes, and safety compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision making.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
