Salary: $110k-$140k benefits

We are an advanced, global powertrain and electric vehicle component manufacturer. Due to company growth, we are adding a skilled and experienced Quality Manager to the team. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, proven experience in the automotive industry, quality systems and GD&T experience. Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to oversee and improve our quality processes within the automotive manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance, while promoting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality management systems in accordance with IATF standards.
• Oversee the PPAP and APQP processes to ensure product compliance and quality.
• Lead quality audits and manage corrective actions using methodologies such as 8D.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process efficiency and product quality.
• Conduct supplier quality assessments and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Utilize CMM and other metrology equipment to assess product specifications and tolerances.
• Train and mentor team members in quality assurance practices and methodologies.
• Customer first mentality
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in quality management within the automotive manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems management and IATF requirements, IATF certification required*
• Experience with PPAP, APQP, GD&T, Q1, and process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred).
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with metrology and supplier quality management.
