What You Will Be Doing
- Perform tax reviews for Partnership, Individual, S-Corp, and C-Corp tax returns. Minimal preparation for more complex returns, as needed.
- Assume responsibility for tax returns and delegates to the various tax preparers as deemed necessary.
- Participate actively in client meetings and tax planning efforts
- Communicate effectively with clients and meet critical deadline
- Participate in firm's practice development efforts
- CPA required.
- 1 years of management experience
- 5 years of extensive knowledge of the tax laws for S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships and Individuals
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Ability to adhere to given budgets and time deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet
- Ability to manage own time and the time of others
- Ability to motivate, develop and direct people as they work
- Capacity to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of how to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to train, orient and mentor staff
- Salary: $110k - 150k
- Vacation/PTO: 4 weeks
