The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of real estate development projects, including construction management, design, logistics, budgeting, and contract close-out. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-family real estate and experience in LEED certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct project teams to ensure successful completion of projects on time and within budget
- Oversee all phases of real estate development projects, from planning to completion
- Conduct cost impact analysis and constructability analysis to identify potential issues and find cost-effective solutions
- Manage project budgets and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and are in compliance with LEED standards
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure efficient project scheduling and delivery of materials
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals for projects
- Conduct value engineering to optimize project costs
- Review subcontractor scopes and manage change orders
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure project meets high standards
- Prepare and review testing reports to ensure project compliance
- Manage contract close-out process, including final inspections and documentation
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in senior project management, preferably in real estate development
- Strong understanding of LEED certification and sustainable building practices
- Experience with multi-family residential projects
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects on time and within budget
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial reporting
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permit processes
