Senior Automation Test Lead

Job Description:

Pay Range: $50hr - $55hr

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts: Create and manage automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications.
• UI Automation: Design, implement, and execute automated tests for user interfaces, ensuring the best user experience.
• API Testing: Evaluate and test APIs to ensure their reliability, performance, and security.
• Test Planning and Execution: Develop test plans, test cases, and test strategies. Execute tests, analyze results, and report defects.
• Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CICD pipeline to ensure continuous testing and deployment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including developers, product managers, and other testers, to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers and team members.
• Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to automation testing.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience: Over 8 years of experience in automation testing, with a strong focus on UI automation and API testing.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, JUnit, TestNG, and others.
• Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• API Testing Tools: Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
• CICD Integration: Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
