Travel RN - Emergency Room

Daimanta is seeking an experienced Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join its high-performing Emergency Department. The ER RN will deliver high-quality, compassionate, and timely care in a fast-paced, rural critical access environment while working collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Shift: Nights | 3×12s (36 hrs/week) | Every other weekend & holiday rotation

OT/Holiday Multiplier: 1.25x

On Call: $9

Charge: $5

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department RN experience required. Prior travel nurse experience strongly encouraged. Rural/Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certifications: Active Iowa RN license (or compact state); BLS (AHA) & ACLS required; TNCC/PALS strongly preferred; MAB can be obtained during onboarding.
• Must be COVID-19 vaccinated (medical/religious exemptions considered).
• Applicants residing within 60 miles will be considered.
• No on-call

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, triage, and provide direct nursing care to acutely ill and injured patients in the Emergency Department.
• Initiate emergency interventions using advanced clinical judgment and nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol and provider orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and ancillary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for timely charting and documentation.
• Adhere to facility policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols.
• Serve as a resource and mentor to peers; perform charge duties as assigned.

Pay: $2,200.00 - $2,500.00 per week
