The Opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Maintenance team member to join us at Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, New York. As part of the Maintenance Team, you will work under the direction of the Facilities Manager performing routine maintenance duties throughout the property.

Responsibilities
- Drive and operate large trucks, tractors and construction equipment.
- Operate motor vehicle as needed.
- Agriculture and heavy equipment operation necessary to maintain tracks and grounds.
- Perform simple carpentry tasks such as replacing stall boards and horse stall repairs.
- Occasional painting.
- Mow lawn removes weeds and brush, and does a variety of unskilled outdoor tasks.
- Maintain tools and equipment in working order
- Keep maintenance shop and vehicles clean and in good operating condition.
- Operate equipment necessary for winter snow removal
Qualifications
- Ability to drive and operate large trucks, tractors and construction equipment (onsite training given) in accordance with Company’s applicable Operational Standards.
- NY Security License required.
- Must have general knowledge in the use of simple tools and equipment used in building trades.
- Ability to read instructions and follow diagrams.
- Ability to perform tasks independently after being given specific instructions.
- Ability to understand and follow OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to adhere to GuestPath’s Universal Service Standards.
- High school diploma/GED/TASC preferred.
- Minimum of one year previous experience in general maintenance and/or agricultural equipment operation
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, pass a motor vehicle records check and drug test.
Physical Requirements
- Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools.
- Ability to stand, crouch, and climb to perform repairs, use ladders, and perform various types of manual labor.
- Ability to lift 85 pounds occasionally.
- Visual acuity sufficient for reading and performing repairs.
- Exposed to outdoor weather conditions in all seasons.
- Occasionally exposed to fumes and toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Noise level may be moderate to high.
- May work around Thoroughbred Horses.
