Warehouse Packer

We are actively hiring warehouse packers for our plant in Arlington, TX.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Works well in a team environment to ensure all customer merchandise is shipped securely and promptly
• Must be computer savvy and a willingness to learn in-house programs and systems
• Familiar with FedEx, UPS, and USPS shipping programs.
• Accurately processing of orders
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• All other duties as required in the warehouse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years experience in a Shipping or Receiving position
• Familiarity with normal shipping and receiving methods including familiarity with package carriers.
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work with minimal supervision and constant direction.
• Commitment to excellence and high-quality standards
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Acute attention to detail
• Some computer experience including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a larger group.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

Shift:

2nd Shift: Tuesday to Friday 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM

Weekend Shift: Friday and Saturday 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Sunday 6:30 PM to 5:00 AM, and Monday 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM ($2.00 differential)

Physical requirements

• The Packer position will have the following physical requirements:
• Standing/Walking (at least 25% of shift)
• Sitting (at least 75% of shift)
• Lifting/Pushing/Pulling up to 50 lb. (at least 50% of shift)
• Bending/Twisting/Squatting (at least 50% of shift)
