What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Operator position at Dougherty County?
The Dougherty County Public Works Department has a vacancy for an Equipment Operator.Employee in this position is responsible for, but not limited to: performing minor preventative maintenance and operating heavy equipment in a safe and responsible manner which may include one or more of the following types of vehicles or equipment: front-end loaders, tractors, mowers, dump trucks, backhoes, boom trucks, motor graders, track loaders, excavators, lowboys, bulldozers, spray trucks, sweepers and buses. Employee keeps logs and files reports, as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED, with six (6) months of training in the use of equipment listed above which shows the ability to perform the duties of the position. Must possess and maintain a Georgia Driver’s License.
