Equipment Operator

The Dougherty County Public Works Department has a vacancy for an Equipment Operator.Employee in this position is responsible for, but not limited to: performing minor preventative maintenance and operating heavy equipment in a safe and responsible manner which may include one or more of the following types of vehicles or equipment: front-end loaders, tractors, mowers, dump trucks, backhoes, boom trucks, motor graders, track loaders, excavators, lowboys, bulldozers, spray trucks, sweepers and buses. Employee keeps logs and files reports, as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED, with six (6) months of training in the use of equipment listed above which shows the ability to perform the duties of the position.
