Established Sleepwear and Intimate Apparel company working with brands such as Danskin, Nicole Miller, Marilyn Monroe, and XOXO is seeking a Sales/Showroom Intern for Summer 2023. This person must be able to commit to a minimum schedule of Tuesday-Thursday, with potential to work Monday and/or Friday as well.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize showrooms
- Manage samples and sample closets
- Assists Sales Executives/Assistants in the preparation for customer meetings
- Pack and send samples to buyers
- Perform general support and administrative duties
- Work with Merchandising team on stock merchandise
Job Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a 4 year Bachelor’s degree program
- Team player with the ability to handle fast-paced work environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and multi-task
- Strong communication, time management, and presentation skills
- Strong computer skills - MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook
- 2 Full days per week minimum
