Our client, a well-established global manufacturer in the food and confectionery sector is seeking a Production Manager to lead operations at their facility near the heart of Cincinnati, OH. This role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on delivering high-quality products through efficient and safe manufacturing practices.
The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of production operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing of products. This role is responsible for leading a team of supervisors and production staff, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to meet business goals.
- Lead daily production operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Foster a culture of accountability, development, and continuous improvement.
- Implement and sustain TPM/Lean manufacturing practices.
- Drive performance through data analysis and KPI management.
- Participate in strategic planning for operational improvements and capital investments.
- 10 years of experience in manufacturing, ideally in food or CPG environments.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (OSHA, FDA, GMPs, HACCP).
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead change and inspire high-performing teams.
