DTO Law (dtolaw.com) is a sophisticated boutique law firm with offices in Los Angeles, Silicon Valley and New York. We are looking for a highly motivated litigation associate to join our growing team.
Job Summary : DTO Law is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Associate to join our diverse civil practice with a focus on class action defense, complex commercial litigation, and intellectual property litigation. We are looking for candidates with at least 2-5 years of experience litigating, preferably in both federal and California state courts. Excellent written and communication skills and academic credentials from a top-tier law school. A federal clerkship is a plus. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on high-stakes litigation matters, including cases involving highly complex legal issues.
This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The Junior / Mid-Level Attorney may have to perform other duties as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
- Participate in all stages of discovery, including document productions, depositions, and expert witness preparation.
- Draft legal pleadings, briefs and other required documents.
- Attend hearings, mediations and other legal proceedings.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel and experts.

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and offer an excellent salary and benefits package. Lockstep salary range based on class year is $170,000 $272,000for 1750 hours (associates who bill 1825 or 1900 receive additional guaranteed compensation). Benefits start the first day of the month following start date, including 401K enrollment.
