Dynamic Logistics Solutions is an asset-based brokerage, with the backing of a well-established asset fleet with more than 35 years in the industry and over 300 power units and 600 trailers. Dynamic is headquartered in Granite City, IL, with additional offices in Hazelwood, MO. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and shippers.
- Negotiate rates and terms with carriers to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Coordinate and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Manage all aspects of the freight brokerage process, from booking to final delivery.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market conditions.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of shipment and transactions
Position Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Freight Broker.
- Determined hunter of new customers and business.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry trends.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Proficient in using freight management software and tools.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Detail-oriented maintain accuracy in tasks.
- Existing customer and carrier relationships is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
