We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team, contributing significantly to the day-to-day trucking operations for a box plant client located in Mount Olive, IL.
The Logistics Coordinator will be primarily responsible for managing a team of drivers, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient load planning, tracking, tracing, billing, and driver payroll management. The ideal candidate is a dynamic individual who is curious, coachable, and empathetic.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daily operations of dedicated truckload services, ensuring smooth and efficient running of operations.
- Oversee load planning, tracking, and tracing, optimizing resource use and delivery timeframes.
- Ensure excellent customer service, promptly addressing and resolving any customer-related issues.
- Manage driver payroll and ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Handle billing-related tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions.
- Contribute to driver retention initiatives, fostering a positive work environment and promoting job satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
REQUIRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.):
- Microsoft office
- Proficient in excel and outlook
- Fluent reading and writing English required
