As a Logistics Coordinator:
What you will do:
- Support the logistics operations by coordinating the transport of heavy-duty products, runways, and racks with assigned carriers.
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries with logistics service providers and load planning.
- Assist with creating logistics reports and ocean export documentation as required.
- Solve problems for in transit complications.
- Tracking and correcting shipping errors and support Customer Service with all logistics related issues.
- Coordinating with transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with on-time deliveries by monitoring transit times and reporting issues.
- Support logistics operations to ensure accurate freight pricing and reporting of same.
- Support logistics operations by assisting in special projects and other responsibilities as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Additional Qualifications Include:
- High school or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Additional industry training/knowledge desired, specifically in logistics.
- Minimum of 2 years of logistics experience, preferably in the transportation industry or manufacturing shipping.
- Excellent communication skills to work with all levels of the company.
- Superior math aptitude.
- The ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
