What are the responsibilities and job description for the Placement Specialist position at Educational Partners International, LLC?
EPI’s Placement Specialists assess international teachers eligibility for the program with screening interviews. Once approved, Placement Specialists connect international teachers with school districts in the US to facilitate job placement.
Placement Specialists also assist teachers once they are in the U.S. through the onboarding process, as they plan for their move to the United States. They monitor key points in the teacher’s onboarding process and provide suggestions and feedback. Placement Specialists continue to communicate with and monitor the progress of teachers after arrival in their new community via telephone, text messaging, and email.

- Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience with and competence supporting Apple Products
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Incidental travel inherent to job duties
- Attendance at all required professional developments and orientations
- Must be able to work effectively under deadline pressures and environments with minimal supervision
- Learn new skills independently to effectively solve problems
- Must be process oriented and have the ability to contribute to process improvements
- Must be self-motivated, highly detail-oriented, well-organized, and highly ethical
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Scheduling interviews for partnered school districts
- Populating teacher candidate portals for partnered school districts
- Extending contracts to teachers who’ve been successfully placed
- Helping teachers develop plans for arriving in the US
- Assisting new teachers with acclimating to their new communities
- Informing new teachers of important information via online conferencing
- Interviewing teacher candidates remotely to determine professional abilities
- Researching a community where teachers will live and creating partnerships in that area
- Managing a caseload of exchange teachers and supporting them through consistent communication
- Working with other EPI team members to help program teachers develop in the classroom
- Delivering virtual and in-person presentations to audiences of 50-200 people
- Helping people through difficult decisions and obstacles
- Communicating over different mediums, including public speaking
- Providing guidance and inspection of cross cultural activities
- Multitasking and managing multiple issues at the same time
- Maintaining a positive and professional attitude, even when confronted with challenges
- Working on a team to accomplish goals
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Communication skills
- The ability to collect data, define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Motivation to be proactive in helping others
- An appreciation for diversity and cultural interaction
- The ability to travel incidentally to regional school districts (if required)
- Drivers License is required
- Willingness to travel (10%)
- High energy to engage an audience
- Communication skills required to work with international teacher candidates
