ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintains a good working relationship with Louisiana State Police.
- Plans and implements machine moves and conversions.
- Maintains an effective parts inventory program.
- Evaluates Technical staff and takes corrective action if necessary.
- Enforces company and Louisiana State Police policies and procedures.
- Maintains a good working relationship with Shift Manager, and Director and other departments. Settles guest disputes when necessary.
- Protects company assets.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise Slot Techs. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 4 year supervisory experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Good oral and written communication skills in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis. Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Louisiana Gaming License, LACT and/or TIPS card required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Regular attendance in conformance with standards, which may be established by Bally's Shreveport from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to Bally's Shreveport Attendance Policy. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. This includes all shifts, weekends and holiday periods Must be 21 years old or older. Knowledge of casino operations.
