What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor - Deep Cleaner (Early Morning Shift) position at Emerald Queen Casino?
Early morning, 8-hour shifts begin at 3am and 4am, leaving your afternoons open!
The Deep Cleaning Worker ensures the cleanliness of the casino interior by cleaning carpets, buffing floors, and cleaning ceiling tiles, vents and accessories. Deep Cleaners also assist kitchen staff with disassembling, sanitizing and reassembling kitchen, deli and bar appliances and hoods. Performs additional job duties as assigned by department management.
Starting wage is $19.13/hr, increasing to $19.70/hr with successful completion of 90-day orientation period.

Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
Experience & Requirements:
- Must have six months experience in general janitorial work
- Experience and knowledge in using cleaning solutions
- Must be able to use various hand tools and cleaning equipment
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend, squat, sit and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen
- Upon offer must obtain Class IIIB Gaming License ($155-200)
- Must have open availability to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
