What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Patrol position at Emerald Queen Casino?
Security Patrol is responsible for performing entry-level security duties for both casino locations. Duties include walking the perimeter of the casinos, parking lots and garages, safeguards property assets by observing and reporting suspicious activity, provides superior guest service while interacting with guests and employees, and promotes good employee relations. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager.
Starting wage is $21.52/hr with an increase to $22.06/hr with successful completion of 90-day orientation period. This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Experience & Requirements:
- Able to learn and follow detailed security manual and procedures
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Basic report-writing skills required
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis
- Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
- Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIA license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
