What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President, Investments position at Endeavor?
VP of Investments | CRE Developer/Owner/Operator | Dallas
We are working with a fast-growing, vertically integrated developer of Class A multifamily that is looking to add a VP of Investments, to focus on acquisition opportunities throughout the US.
The ideal candidate will have strong financial acuity (i.e. technical), with the ability to originate and execute his/her own deals, while overseeing a growing group of Analysts/Associates who will be assisting in due-diligence/underwriting.
Our client is prepared to deploy significant capital towards the opportunities that this role will originate, so they need someone who is aggressive, deal-oriented, and thrives in a lean/entrepreneurial environment. There will be Analyst/Associate-level support, and our client has the bandwidth to offer unlimited resources towards this role as it grows, but the candidate will have to be able to "get in the weeds", and self-start from day one.
Required experience:
- 7 years of transactional experience with a developer, institutional investor, private equity firm, or similar
- Currently in a transactional role in the multifamily space
- Ability to evaluate/underwrite an investment opportunity from a technical standpoint
- Experience performing market research, and approaching opportunities from a strategic, risk/return mindset
- Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or similar
