Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist II to join our team to serve as a strategic HR business partner for our rapidly growing international business. This full time, salaried role is an on-site position located in Indianapolis, IN, and will report directly to the Global HR Manager. As a Human Resources Generalist II at ENTEGRA®, you will be responsible for all activities related to payroll, benefits, HRIS administration, compliance, and onboarding.
Responsibilities:
- HR Support: Actively participate in process improvement initiatives, enhancing organizational efficiency. Provide guidance to employees and leadership regarding policies, procedures, and applicable state, federal, and local regulatory compliance requirements.
- Payroll: Accurately and efficiently process employee payroll. Ensure timely payroll disbursement and address any payroll-related inquiries from employees.
- Benefits: Coordinates and conducts informative benefits presentations to educate employees on benefit plans and enrollment provisions.
- Onboarding: Collaborates with key stakeholders to assess and enhance onboarding process and orientation materials, creating a world-class new hire experience that contributes to employee retention.
- Offboarding: Facilitate exit interviews with departing employees, manage the cessation of employee benefits, accurately process final paychecks, and ensure the comprehensive completion and filing of all required offboarding documentation.
- Compliance: Maintain the integrity of personnel files by ensuring that all documents and certifications remain current, accurate, confidential, and aligned with both company policies and government regulations.
- Data Management & Record Keeping: Maintain the confidentiality and accuracy of employee data within the HRIS (e.g., Paylocity) through meticulous data entry and personnel file management.
- Reporting: Generate various reports, including payroll and time & attendance records, to facilitate data analysis while maintaining comprehensive records.
- Operational Excellence: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, consistently working towards the achievement of individual and team goals.
- Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Three (3) or more years of payroll processing experience
- Five (5) or more years of HR Generalist experience preferred
- Working knowledge of all State and Federal labor laws
- Proficiency within HRMS, HRIS, and time & attendance systems (e.g., Paylocity)
- Excellent ability to prioritize, multitask and manage deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner
- Results-driven, forward-thinking, problem-solving mindset
- Emotional and social intelligence for effective interpersonal interactions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent proficiency within Microsoft applications
