What You Will Do:
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Lead onboarding for new hires across multiple employee groups, including coordination of orientation and HR systems setup.
- Manage onboarding through platforms like Employee Navigator and Paycor, ensuring data accuracy and timely access.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to provision access and ensure a seamless start-to-finish experience.
Benefits Administration
- Send benefit portal invitations and support new hires with enrollment.
- Respond to or route employee questions related to benefits, open enrollment, and plan coverage.
- Manage relationships with brokers and vendors; support annual open enrollment logistics and compliance.
Payroll & Timekeeping
- Process bi-weekly and weekly payroll cycles with precision and timeliness.
- Review and verify submitted timesheets before payroll processing.
- Monitor employee time entry and follow up as needed to ensure completeness.
- Submit monthly workers’ compensation insurance invoices.
HRIS & Systems Support
- Act as point of contact for HRIS (Paycor), including system maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve employee access or data issues.
- Maintain employee records throughout the lifecycle, including new hires, terminations, and role changes.
Compliance & Internal Support
- Respond to employment verification requests and other external documentation needs.
- Manage workers’ compensation claims, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
- Support HR initiatives like terminations and performance improvement plans (PIPs), ensuring documentation and policy adherence.
What You Have Done:
- 1–3 years of experience in HR operations, generalist, or coordinator roles.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., Paycor, Employee Navigator).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks with a customer-service mindset.
- Knowledge of payroll and benefits processes strongly preferred.
