EOA Children's Services provides quality early childhood education services to families throughout Washington County. Extended Day Teachers are responsible for facilitating a positive learning environment for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years of age. Each classroom would have two Teachers who work as a team to provide responsive care in a preschool setting.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for planning and facilitating afternoon activities in both the classroom and outdoor learning environments.
- Responsible for assisting in bathroom supervision.
- Responsible for serving an afternoon snack.
- Responsible for consistent interaction with children during all learning activities.
- Create a positive, nurturing environment through quality interactions.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean facility.
- Maintain confidentiality and restrict information about children, families, and staff to those with a need to know.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:30 pm-5:30 pm.
