Director, Trade and Channel Strategy
Greater NYC, NJ (on-site 3 days a week)
A leading global pharmaceutical organization is searching for an experienced and strategic individual to join their V&A team in light of a recent growth mode. This individual will lead the design and implementation of distribution strategies, ensuring optimized access across all key channels, including Trade, GPOs, and Pharmacies. They will oversee both pre-launch planning and lifecycle management for the U.S. innovative medicines and biosimilar portfolios, working in close collaboration with cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact to Brand and Value & Access Marketing teams, guiding product launch planning and reviewing distribution models with internal subject matter experts.
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide distribution strategies in collaboration with Trade Account Management and Operations, including Wholesaler and Specialty Distribution Agreements.
- Evaluating integrated care market opportunities with Brand and Value & Access Leads to inform strategic planning and annual business modeling.
- Design and recommend compliant, channel-specific distribution models, including partner selection, pricing structures, and service programs.
- Ensure financial alignment by partnering with Finance and Fair Market Value teams to review contract terms ahead of Pricing Committee evaluations.
- 15% Travel within the US.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, advanced degrees are preferred.
- 10 Years within the Healthcare industry, preferably pharma.
- Experience with Specialty distribution, including specialty pharmacy.
- Proven ability to lead teams, communicate with stakeholders and cross functional departments, and manage external analytics vendors
