Investment Assistant
Summary
Assist Managing Principal and Investment Representatives to achieve personal production and departmental goals. Perform various support duties pertinent to meeting the needs of customers and the development of new business.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Perform all service transactions for clients including answering questions with factual information about their accounts.
- Assist in handling daily transactions while adhering to compliance and regulatory policies.

- Maintain accurate client files according to FINRA/Broker-Dealer/OSJ guidelines.
- Help with documents, preparation, and order entry for client meetings.
- Keep checks and securities blotters updated.
- Prepare documents and route them to the appropriate Investment Company and OSJ.
- Keeps accurate records of all client accounts and transactions according to policies.
- Maintains records of “rep” files per policy.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Supports the department’s goals and values.
- Assist in organizing and implementing seminars, scheduling appointments, and other sales activities.
- Assist with workflow processes for operational effectiveness.
- Attend training sessions to keep abreast of changes in regulations and compliance issues.
- Complete ACT program with Broker/Dealer.
- Assist in developing departmental goals and budgets and preparing short- and long-term goals.
- Undertakes special assignments as appropriate.
- Perform all operational tasks.
- Attend investment department and bank-sponsored events.
- Assist with the coordination of marketing projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1 years of customer service experience
- Investment and/or Banking experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and phone
- Creativity and resourcefulness
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and ensure accurate and timely completion of all tasks
