We are currently seeking a Concierge to join our team and serve as the first point of contact in our facility. This critical role combines exceptional customer service with safety and emergency response functions to ensure a positive and safe experience for all who enter our doors.
Position Summary:
The Concierge is responsible for providing a warm and professional welcome to patients and visitors, answering inquiries, assisting with navigation, and responding to security and emergency situations. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, situational awareness, and a commitment to patient satisfaction and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient and Visitor Experience
Greet patients, visitors, and staff with a friendly and professional demeanor
Assist with check-ins and provide directions throughout the facility
Facilitate transport needs, such as wheelchair assistance or escorting
Security and Emergency Response
Monitor public areas and report any safety or security concerns
Respond to emergencies and coordinate with medical staff and first responders
Follow facility protocols for lockdowns, evacuations, or medical events
Communication and Documentation
Act as a liaison between visitors and internal departments
Maintain timely and clear communication using radios or phones
Document and report incidents accurately and promptly
Customer Service and Support
Offer empathetic support during stressful situations
Resolve or escalate concerns professionally and efficiently
Provide information about available patient support services
Facility Navigation and Compliance
Maintain knowledge of facility layout and protocols
Keep lobby areas neat, organized, and welcoming
Enforce visitor policies and health/safety guidelines
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
Valid State of Florida Class “D” Security Officer License
Strong communication and customer service skills
Familiarity with the use of PPE and safety practices
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, healthcare, or related field
Experience in an FQHC or healthcare setting
Background in security, emergency response, or patient care
Knowledge of HIPAA and facility access protocols

Working Conditions:
