Job Description:
Evergreen Sign Company, a leading producer of custom architectural signage, fixtures, and installation is seeking Signage Project Estimators.
As a Signage Project Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for signage projects. You’ll collaborate with sales, design, and production teams to ensure each project is scoped correctly and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and site surveys to prepare detailed cost estimates
- Source pricing from vendors and suppliers for materials and subcontracted services
- Calculate labor, materials, equipment, and installation costs
- Collaborate with sales and project managers to develop proposals and bids
- Maintain and update estimating tools, templates, and cost databases
- Ensure compliance with local codes, permitting, and safety standards
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in signage estimating or a related field (construction, fabrication, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of signage materials, fabrication methods, and installation practices
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CAD or design software (AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator)
- Familiarity with local permitting processes and building codes
- Background in project management or sales support is a plus
