Evergreen Sign Company, a leading producer of custom architectural signage, fixtures, and installations, is seeking someone with previous vinyl graphics experience to join our team.
As a Vinyl Graphics Department Assistant, you will be responsible for cutting, preparing, and applying vinyl graphics on various substrates, along with other associated tasks like maintaining inventory, tools, and a clean workspace. We need someone who wants to grow and help us take it to the next level.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Appling vinyl film product surfaces; aluminum, acrylic and others.
- Review and read work orders and drawings to verify size, material, and quantity
- Maintain material inventory per current and upcoming workload
- Multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting or exceeding strict quality requirements
- Troubleshoot and identify machine problems, resolving issues to maintain quality and prevent waste
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience with vinyl graphics is required, with bonus points for experience with Graphtec plotters and Gerber Composer software.
Requirements:
- Work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Occasional overtime during the week to meet project deadlines
- Experience with vinyl graphics is required, with bonus points for experience with plotters and cutting computer software
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Strong attention to detail.
- The ability to stand for long periods and walk moderate distances.
- Lift, pull, and push about 50 pounds.
- Climbing ladders is also essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
