Job Overview for Registered Nurse
We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Registered Nurse in the Fairfield and surrounding areas to join our patient nursing team, to perform Start of Care and 60 Day Recerts on new and current Home Health Aide clients. The right candidate is a patient and compassionate professional and who is respectful when entering the homes of the clients.
Qualifications
Responsibilities for Registered Nurse
- Assess and chart observations of the client’s condition at each Start of Care and Recert.
- Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs.
- Provide education to patients and families on proper home health care procedures and strategies.
- Document visit notes following each visit.
- Recommend tools or devices that may improve the quality of life for the patient.
- Oversee other workers such as LPNs and home care aides
Qualifications for Registered Nurse
- Proven record of providing patients with nursing care.
- Ability to exercise independent and sound judgement.
- Strong decision-making skills and well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Effective organizational and time management skills along with strong teamwork skills.
- Experience with a wide range of patient age groups and disorders.
Experience and Education for Registered Nurse
- Experience in performing Start of Care and Recerts in a residential setting or similar environment.
- Current Registered Nurse license for the state of operation.
