Assembly Technician
Status: Regular Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Work Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Thursday; 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday
Position Description:
Individuals working in the assembly department should be proficient with using many different types of power tools (both electrical and air powered). This person should have some experinece doing work related to carpentry tasks, such as trim work, using a tape maasure proficiently and bieng familiar with drill bits. The candidate will use different types of tools and perform a variety of tasks to accomplish the assembly of emergency vehicles (installing cabinets, trim, etc) The company will furnish the electrical and air powered tools.

Working Conditions:
Typical automotive manufacturing shop environment (hot/cold/dusty).
Physical:
This position involves manual labor using assigned tools. This position requires the individual to reach, stand, kneel, bend, stoop, twist and lie down (on a creeper) to accomplish the assembly of emergency vehicles. Individual will perform a variety of tasks and will be in various “positions” throughout the workday.
Other:
Must be able to work overtimes as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
