- Participate in refactoring the PROTECT case management system, focusing on moving processing from the client to backend and middleware layers.
- Collaborate with a core team including existing DAIT team members and IT contractors to modernize legacy applications.
- Develop and maintain APIs such as SOAP and REST, ensuring seamless integration and data exchange.
- Work with database technologies like SQL Server in hybrid on-premise and cloud environments.
- Contribute to server-side event-driven programming and handle event management efficiently.
- At least 6 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with emphasis on back-end development using .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, and Entity Framework.
- Experience working with SQL Server databases in hybrid environments.
- Strong background in server-side event-driven programming and event handlers.
- Experience developing APIs such as SOAP and REST, along with stored procedures and batch processing/queues.
- Current Wisconsin residency; remote work within Wisconsin is required. No relocation is permitted.
