Fairview Health Services is looking for an RN at the University of Minnesota West Bank in Minneapolis, MN on our Transitional Care Unit! Unit Details:
- 28 beds
- Serves multiple diagnoses including neuro, ortho, oncology, amputee, spinal cord injury, transplant, etc.
- All adult patients (18 )
- Post-Acute – PT, OT, SLP.
- Approximately 50 therapy and tech staff at the 2 post-acute units
- Highly Collaborative between all teams along with MD/Physiatrist, rehab nursing, social work, dietary, etc. with primary goal to get patients home.
This position is working 48 hours in a 2-week pay period on the day shift, 12 hour shifts and every third weekend. The position is eligible for Full benefits package, including rn student loan repayment.

Responsibilities Job Description
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
- Demonstrates Clinical Competence in utilization of FIM Instruments
- Works effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary patient care team
- Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation principles and supports philosophy of inpatient rehabilitation care
Qualifications
Required:
- Current Minnesota RN License
- BLS (basic life support)
