RN - Transitional Care Unit

Clinical trials advance our clinical services, bringing the very newest ideas in patient care. 

1. transitional care unit
   1. 28 beds 
   2. serves multiple diagnoses including neuro, ortho, oncology, amputee, spinal cord injury, transplant, etc. 
   3. all adults
2. post-acute – pt, ot, slp.
3. approximately 50 therapy and tech staff at the 2 post-acute units 
4. highly collaborative between all disciplines along with md/physiatrist, rehab nursing, social work, dietary, etc. with primary goal to get patients home.

this position is working 64 hours in a 2 week pay period on the nightshift, 8 hour shifts and every other weekend.

the position is eligible for benefits including loan repayment.

demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation principles and supports philosophy of inpatient rehabilitation care

required:

1. current minnesota rn license

2. bls (basic life support)
