Farmington Country Club would like to invite you to join our Food and Beverage team as our Assistant Chief Steward. The Assistant Chief Steward will be responsible for assisting in the supervision of our General Kitchen Workers, and ensuring all kitchens are clean, safe, sanitary, and maintained according to Club and departmental standards. This position requires qualified candidates to have open and flexible scheduling abilities.
What Youll Do:
- Oversee the daily operation of dish machines and ware-washing stations;
- Manage inventory, storage, and transportation of kitchen equipment and service ware;
- Adherence and enforcement of Club and departmental safety and sanitation procedures;
- Lead, train, and develop General Kitchen Workers through frequent communications, setting of expectations, and constructive feedback;
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance;
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time;
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping;
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Chief Steward and chefs
