Job Description:
The Nurse Resident provides and directs clinically appropriate patient care to an individual or group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and mission of the Department of Nursing, the organization, and the scope and standards set forth by the American Nurses Association (ANA).
Program Overview:
The Residency program is a 12-month extended orientation, clinical experiences, and classroom time to facilitate transition to practice.

Qualifications:
- Licenses: Current Virginia State RN License
- Required Skills:
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), NIHSS, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP)
- Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
